01/18/2021 Rosseti FGC UES has upgraded Pskov Region’s key main station The assembly of six state-of-the-art 330 kV SF6 circuit breakers has been finalized at the 330 kV Velikoretskaya Substation. It is the final phase of work to renew its switching equipment fleet. A total of 10 new systems were assembled at the facility, with the project cost totaling RUB 193 m. This resulted in more reliable power supply to the consumers of Pskov and adjacent areas, including the residents of Moglino Special Economic Zone and Velikiye Luki Railway Hub.
01/14/2021 Rosseti FGC UES has finalized upgrade of 220 kV Kiembai main substation in Orenburg Region Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has finalized the rehabilitation of 220 kV Kiembai Substation. The facility saw the assembly of new 10 kV indoor switch gear (ISG) and the installation of switching equipment and changes to the configuration of its 220 kV outdoor switch gear. This resulted in greater reliability of energy supply to the consumers of the eastern Orenburg Region, including Orenburg Minerals mining and processing plant, Russia’s major chrysotile asbestos producer.
01/12/2021 Rosseti FGC UES upgrades Kirov Region’s largest main station and implements a package of energy efficiency solutions Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has started implementing an automated transformer cooling control system at its 500 kV Vyatka Substation. The next phase will witness the installation of equipment to use the heat being generated to heat the substation’s general control center. The expected effect is the reduction of energy consumption for these needs by up to 80%.

Three-year certificates of conformity with the requirements of international and national standards (ISO 50001:2018 and GOST R ISO 50001-2012) have been obtained. Audit was conducted by the experts of DQS Holding, one of the world’s largest certification bodies. The opinions of independent auditors prove that the integrated efforts of Rosseti FGC UES to save energy and improve energy efficiency are made up to par and fully comply with the existing standards.
12/24/2020 Rosseti FGC UES improves reliability of power supply to Berezovsky open-pit mine in Krasnoyarsk Territory Rosseti FGC UES has upgraded the operating DC system at the 220 kV BUR-1 substation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. With the new battery and rectifier chargers installed, the reliability of power supply for the Berezovsky open-pit mine and a number of industrial enterprises in the area will be improved.
Rosseti FGC UES provides power to Gazprom's helium hub in Primorie
Rosseti FGC UES has connected Gazprom Helium Service, a resident of the Nadezhdinskaya priority development area (PDA), to the Unified National Power Grid (UNPG). The company is building a logistics center for helium containers in the Primorie Territory to be one of the elements of the system to deliver liquid helium from the Amur Gas Processing Plant to global market.
12/10/2020 Rosseti FGC UES raises 220 kV A-30 substation capacity to 126 MVA to connect Azov Windfarm Rosseti FGC UES has commissioned the second autotransformer at the 220 kV A-30 substation. So the capacity of the key power center in the south-west of the Rostov region has doubled, reaching 126 MVA. The works have been done as part of the project to connect the new Azov windfarm to the Unified National Power Grid. The total volume of investments by Rosseti FGC UES is 410 mn rubles.
12/07/2020 Rosseti switch Skolkovo underground power facilities to remote control Rosseti FGC UES jointly with the System Operator (SO UPS JSC) have implemented remote control at two substations of the capital's power system, 220 kV Skolkovo and Soyuz. The facilities provide power supply to residents of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, including Sberbank's data center, research divisions of SIBUR, Transmashholding and Tatneft, as well as residential areas, social infrastructure and a network of charging stations for electric vehicles.
12/07/2020 Rosseti FGC UES totally renovates 500kV breakers at Omsk region's biggest power supply center FGC UES, PJSC has completed revamping the switching equipment of Tavricheskaya 500 kV substation. Reliability of power supply in Omsk and nearby areas, as well as power flows between the Urals, Siberia and the Republic of Kazakhstan, have been improved. The amount of funds foreseen by the company's investment program is 304 mn rubles.

Repair of switching equipment complete at Nizhny Novgorod region's two biggest power centers
Rosseti FGC UES has finished repairing disconnectors and breakers at Nizhegorodskaya and Luch 500 kV substation in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The work will allow raising the reliability of power supply to inhabitants of the region, including the city of Nizhny Novgorod where more than 1.2 mn people live.

Rosseti FGC UES switches to remote control the substation that feeds power to LafargeHolcim plant in Kaluga
Rosseti FGC UES jointly with the System Operator (SO UPS JSC) have implemented remote control at the 220 kV Stany distribution point in the Kaluga Region, from which the Ferzikovo Cement Plant is fed. It is part of the international group LafargeHolcim and is a unique enterprise involved in the solid waste recycling.

10/27/2020 Rosseti FGC UES connected Russia's unique Amursky Oil Crushing Plant - anchor resident of Belogorsk TOR - to UNPG Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) expanded the 220 kV Belogorsk substation in the Amur Region. Now the Amursky Plant, a resident of Belogorsk territory of advanced development (TOR) can be supplied with up to 7.24 MW capacity from the Unified National Power Grid (UNPG). The company plans to replace by 75% the import of protein isolate, a soybean processing product which is used in the dairy and meat industries.
